League, union and school chess: for members and pupils 5

Some chess around Copenhagen is open only to people who already belong somewhere. The team league of Københavns Skak Union is played between its member clubs, so a player takes part through a club. Vestvoldsturneringen is a team event for players of Damhus, Hvidovre and Brøndby, and BMS Skak keeps its Chess960 championship for its own members.

School chess sits here too: Dansk Skoleskak runs lessons and tournaments for pupils, and at Kirkebjerg Skole in Vanløse pupils play in the breaks and teach one another. A child who wants to play outside school will find junior training in most clubs, listed under the lessons.
